as a little girl
I knew nothing about
the things of the world
the ins or the outs
as a young lady
I began to see
the flaws of my parents
and the road before me
as a young woman
I came to see
that life is for consuming
every opportunity
There are many more years for me to grow
and adhere to the wisdom I come to know.
