I Knew It Was Over When (Confessions of A Clueless Dater)

I have a few more I knew it was over when's. I was chatting with a girlfriend and we were sharing our terrible dating stories and suddenly several of my " I Knew It Was Over When .... " 's came flooding back to me:

  1. He spontaneously licked my boob crack and said "Girrrrl!". 
  2. He asked for a kiss, I said no, so he "took it" by kissing me passionately with my lips clenched shut.
  3. He started using slang that my daughter uses. 
  4. He turned to me and said "whew that was good!" ...and it wasn't.
  5. He had white bumps on his... 
  6. He said he was tired of STD's and needed to settle down
  7. He accused me of not cuddling him enough
  8. He sent me daily videos of him... licking his lips. Nothing else, just lip licking.
  9. He started freestyle rapping while we were making out
  10. He made high pitched puppy cries while we were making out
  11. He asked me if I wanted to see him in panties
  12. He went to jail.
  13. He picked his nose and ate his finding...openly. Several times.

When I heard that K-Ci and Jo-Jo were coming out with a reality show documenting their experience going through rehab, I was excited. Admit It, You're Bitter!

For most, dating isn't easy (see " Dating Game (s) post). Can I be honest? I have no idea on where to begin! With each failed relationship, after sulking and licking your wounds one would hope that they have at least learned something from the experience. As much as we invest in these relationships, even after their demise we should hope to take something away from it. Whether that means that you no longer have tolerance for someone who doesn't make you happy, or finally realizing someone who only changes their underwear on special occasions may not be the right person for you... the bottom line is that you have standards. For me, standards were truly created and defined after navigating the terrain of turbulent relationships. Its not that I hadn't a clue of what I wanted in a partner, its just that a few go-rounds with the wrong person will let you know what you DON'T want in a partner. Geek of The Week: Meet Anthony, Creator of the Geek Forum That's Taking Facebook By Storm

I met Anthony about two decades ago, and I'm being stingy with the time so not to reveal how ancient I truly am. We were high school kids in New York and life was fast paced. I never realized how unique he was because New York is full of diversity and well...eclectic people.
